Since 2001, LYNC (Leadership for the Youth of Niagara County) has brought together youth leaders from diverse backgrounds throughout Niagara County for experiential leadership training and character development. Students representing ten high schools in Niagara County have been selected for this year’s program. They attend monthly sessions on economics, government, media, as well as participate in skill building sessions in teamwork, interpersonal communications, leadership, and personal performance.
LYNC students developed their own tagline for their new logo: Learn Today. Lead Tomorrow.
Thanks to the support of the Niagara County Youth Bureau, Niagara Area Foundation, and Senator George Maziarz for providing generous support of our youth leadership program.
We would also like to thank LN Board Member, Lisa Lindamer of Niagara Wheatfield High School, for her dedication and leadership of the LYNC program.
